We are looking to work with a range of secondary schools and community-based organisations working with children in the 12-18 age range across the UK. Through our NHS partners we will provide free and thorough training to in-house pastoral teams and contracted mental health support workers in delivering the Behavioural Activation intervention and will offer ongoing support and guidance throughout the trial period.
We appreciate there are many existing demands on schools, especially at the present time, and do not in any way wish to add to these. Rather our hope is that this new approach has the potential to be more effective and cost/resource efficient than existing processes. Our shared goal is to see young people lead as happy and personally and educationally successful lives as possible.
