Lucy Tindall, Programme Manager
Biography
Lucy graduated from the University of Hull with a BSc in Psychology in 2007 followed by an MSc in Health Psychology from Coventry University in 2009. Following completion of her MSc, Lucy has worked in a variety of research roles and settings including as a research assistant (Coventry University), a clinical trials assistant (Scarborough General Hospital) and as a trial coordinator (Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust).
As a trial coordinator Lucy was predominantly involved in the projects CITADEL (a feasibility study and pilot trial of computerised cognitive behaviour therapy for depression in adolescents) and ASPECT (a non-inferiority randomised controlled trial comparing the clinical and cost-effectiveness of one session treatment (OST) with multi-session cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) in children with specific phobias).
Lucy completed her ESRC-funded PhD within the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. This focused on the development and evaluation of a computerised Behavioural Activation programme for adolescents with depression.
Role in ComBAT
As Programme Manager, Lucy is responsible for managing the delivery of all work packages associated with ComBAT to ensure each successfully meets their milestones to time and target. Lucy is responsible for liaising with the study sponsor, funder, NIHR and other organisations involved in the delivery of the work.
